The last 6 months has been a rollercoaster of a ride. After winning the Common Pitch in Boulder CO with Marius Andresen the Bell Lamp, I have quit my job in the leading digital agency in Europe(!) and started Bright Products. Our vision is a world where people see new possibilities. www.bright-products.co
No lack of possibilities so far. Everywhere we go we meet people with enthusiasm, ideas and networks that bring us further and closer to the off grid markets of the world.
But also days of dispair, confusion and unforseen turns in our plans. Being an entrepreneur is like going back to school in totally new subjects at the age of 43. That´s the kick and that´s the challenge.
A lot of people turn to me with various expressions of admiration and respect for choosing insecurity and chance to the well paid life as a (m)AdMan. It makes me wonder how may dreams and how much potential is going in the wrong direction. Let me tell you - it´s no easy ride, and the rewards come at a high price. But all that aside, (insert all cliches about going for it, carpe diem, following your dreams, etc), I just enjoy meeting every day with new people and new possibilities.
